Our clinic strives to make a difference in the community. In fact in 2011 alone, we (with the help of our patients!) have donated over 15 thousand dollars for local charities such as the YMCA, The White Bear Lake Area Foodshelf, the White Bear Lake Relay for Life and the White Bear Lake Polar Plunge. In 2012 we are celebrating a Miracle Year for Wellness. With chiropractic care we can make difference in our communities health as well as raise money for local charities. Our goal is to donate $20,000 in 2012. We are serious about making a difference in the communiy.
Carlson Chiropractic Clinic is a clinic of expertise. Dr. Carlson, Dr. Lund and Dr. Garcia, like all Chiropractic Doctors, work with the spinal vertebrae and their proper allignment. However, our Doctors are also certified in advanced soft tissue therapy called Active Release Techiniqe (www.activereleasetechniques.com) We are the only doctors in the White Bear Lake area that are certified in this therapy. Active Release Techniques (ART) helps us treat the soft tissues, which connect to the bones, let the Doctor achieve optimal results. ART helps lengthen the muscle while in action to reduce pain and increase proper motion and function. This technique lets us treat sports, work and auto accident specific injuries as well such as ITB syndrome, TMJ, carpal tunnel, and shoulder impingement.
